6 National Awards from the Dogue de Bordeaux Society of America
We we were unable to make the 2500 mile trip to Portland, OR to exhibit at the 2015 DDBSA National Show but very pleased last week when the UPS truck pulled up with a giant box of National Annual Awards!
6 DDBSA Annual Awards for us from 2014:
2014 Breeder Medallion Award – Heartstrings Dogue de Bordeaux (2nd year in a row)
2014 Dam of the Year – Bronze GCH Urszula z Orisku (2nd year in a row)
2014 Dam of Merit – Bronze GCH Urszula z Orisku (2nd year in a row)
2014 Sire of the Year – Bronze GCH Storm de Legeane
2014 Top Bred By Exhibitor Award – CH Heartstrings Shirley (2013 Top Bred By Exhibitor Winner – GCH Heartstrings Claire)
2014 Top Junior Handler – McKenzie handling GCH Heartstrings Kronos (2nd year in a row) – Great job McKenzie and Kronos!!!
Enormous Thank You to the DDBSA. To say we are overjoyed and humbled is an understatement. These beautiful crystal chargers carry upon them an enormous responsibility to the Breed that is not taken lightly and we will continue to do our very best.
Outstanding Hips!
Jazz and Claire’s Penn Hip results arrived from our health testing a few weeks ago and we are overjoyed. Jazzy ranked in the 70th percentile in hips, Claire in the 80th percentile. The rankings are calculated from a film data base, compared against 828 DDB films previously recorded and logged.
Now that the health testing is finalized we move forward with breeding plans for these dazzling Grand Champion ladies. We look forward to the total package with their babies: amazing health, beautiful type, and lovely temperament. Very special girls – pretty inside and out and we are very proud “parents.”
Weekend Shows Approach
Looking forward to the upcoming weekend and 5 Heartstrings Dogues exhibiting across the US. Silver Grand Champion Jazz; Grand Champion Kronos.
Working their way towards Championships will be Mambo and Ruth. Laszlo (4 months) will also be shown in a puppy match, hopefully dazzling judges once again – last weekend winning Best Puppy at 4 months at an all-breed show with puppies up to 6 months old.
