Following several nice ribbons in back-to-back shows Ms. Claire has decided it’s time to turn her attention towards being a mom.  Claire is Grand Champion, approximately 20 points away from Bronze Grand Champion.  She is also CHIC certified:  clear heart on echocardiogram by a board certified cardiologist, OFA elbows, OFA shoulders, PENN hips and OFA patellas.  In the past 10 years, only 30 DDB’s in the US have achieved CHIC clearance.

We have begun pre-natal care and testing, trips to the reproductive specialist every other day where we are monitoring her progesterone and waiting for the perfect time.  Pre-natal vitamins including folic acid, everything we can do to ensure the happy and safe arrival of this much anticipated litter.
